11-day trip in Iran

Itinerary for a 11-day trip in Iran 

Day  1  
- Arrive in Tehran  - Transfer to hotel and take some rest  - Start the city tour of Tehran at 10:00 A.M. including  - Golestan palace - National museum  - Abgine museum - Crown jewels museum (if possible) - Milad tower - Overnight: Tehran 

Day  2  
- Full day city tour of Tehran including  - Sa’d Abad palace - Niavaran palace  - Tajrish square and bazaar  - Darband mountainous area - Overnight: Tehran 

Day  3  
- Morning drive to Ramsar via Chalous road and enjoy the landscapes  - Afternoon visit to Ramsar Entertaining complex and free time to go up the mount using the cable cars or to walk beside the Caspian sea - Overnight: Ramsar 

Day  4  
- Morning visit to the Pahlavi palace in Ramsar - Drive to Anzali  - Stop at Lahijan to visit its main highlights including  - Tea Farms  - Mausoleum of Sheykh Zahed Gilani  - Continue driving to Anzali  - Overnight: Anzali 

Day  5  
- Morning visit to Masoule village  - Afternoon boating on Anzali lagoon  - A short visit to Fish market  - Overnight: Anzali 

Day  6  
- Morning drive to Astara  - Afternoon visit to the Border market and free time to walk beside the Caspian sea  - Overnight: Astara 

Day  7
- Morning drive to Sareyn  - Stop at Ardebil to visit the main highlights of the city including  - Mausoleum of Sheykh Safi  - Ethnography museum - Continue driving to Sareyn village - Afternoon free time to use hot springs  - Overnight: Sareyn

Day  8
- Morning drive to Tabriz  - Excursion to Kandovan rocky village - Drive back to Tabriz  - Evening visit to El-Goli park  - Overnight: Tabriz 
 
Day  9
- Full day city tour of Tabriz including  - Tabriz museum - Blue mosque - Constitutional house - Tabriz grand Bazaar - Mausoleum of Poets  - Overnight: Tabriz  

Day  10
- Full day excursion to Jolfa to visit the famous Saint Stephen cathedral  - Saint Marry Church  - Aras river - Drive back to Tabriz  - Overnight: Tabriz  

Day 11
- Transfer to Tabriz airport to take flight back home   
* There is the possibility to extend this itinerary to 18 days to include Shiraz, Yazd and Isfahan * The itinerary has the possibility to change depending on date & time of arrival & departure  Note:    All the museums (neither Palaces nor mosques , only museums) are closed on Mondays   Golestan Palace is closed on Sundays    Crown Jewels museum is open on Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays from 14:00 – 16:00  Hotels could be replaced with similar hotel in same category
