3 Days “Red Centre Magic” 5 Star

Destination: Yulara

3 days excluding flights

Day 1 -  Arrive Ayers Rock
Upon arrival, please make your own way to the courtesy coach desk for your transfer to your accommodation.
Ayers Rock or Uluru is one of Australia's most identifiable icons. The large sandstone rock formation lies in the Uluru Kata Tjuta National Park approximately 450 km southwest from Alice Springs. The Ayers Rock site is considered sacred to the local Aborigines. The rock’s colour changes spectacularly with the sunset, gradually turning to a deeper shade of red before fading into grey and blending into the night. The reverse can be witnessed as dawn approaches.

Accommodation: Sails in the Desert Hotel  - Superior Room  2 Nights’ Accommodation – Room Only
Voyages Sails in the Desert Hotel beautifully contrasts Uluru's raw natural beauty with a decidedly luxurious outback holiday experience. In the heart of Australia's Red Centre where one of the world's oldest cultures still thrives, the mystery, colour and wisdom of the local Anangu people is interwoven into every facet of Sails in the Desert's modern design. More than luxury accommodation, Sails in the Desert hotel is a destination of exploration and indulgence. The hotel features an expansive gumtree lined heated swimming pool and a diversity of modern dining, bar and lounge options. Relax and feast in the brasserie-style Ilkari Restaurant or let time tick by as you enjoy cocktails, music and culinary temptations in the Walpa Lobby Bar.
Voyages Free Daily Activities  The FREE Daily activities at Voyages Ayers Rock Resort continue to be extremely popular with guests.  The daily activities includes indigenous art markets, guided garden walks, self-guided garden walks, bush yarns, cultural dance workshop, spear & boomerang throwing, wakagetti cultural dancers, interactive didgeridoo playing and tours and information centre. Note: The free activities are subject to change without notice. Please enquire with your hotel reception to confirm operating times. Please be aware that their Indigenous performers are traditional people with strong cultural obligations. Wet weather may also impact the location or time of the scheduled activity.

Sounds of Silence Dinner
At the Sounds of Silence experience you can dine under the canopy of the desert night, while your very own storyteller shares tales as told in the stars. Entered into the Australian Tourism Hall of Fame, Sounds of Silence offers the best of the Red Centre distilled into four magical hours. An evening of dining under the sparkling outback sky.
Your Sounds of Silence experience begins with canapés and chilled sparkling wine served on a viewing platform overlooking the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. As the sun sets and darkness falls, listen to the sound of a didgeridoo and join your table for an unforgettable dining experience and an introduction to Aboriginal culture with a traditional dance performance under the outback sky. The attentive staff will keep your glass full with a quality selection of Australian wine and beer while first course is served. As the night sky twinkles to life, help yourself to a bush tucker inspired buffet that incorporates native bush ingredients such as crocodile, kangaroo, barramundi and quandong.
Settle back and listen to the resident star talker decode the southern night sky. Locate the Southern Cross, the signs of the zodiac, the Milky Way, as well as planets and galaxies that are visible due to the exceptional clarity of the atmosphere.  After dinner, enjoy dessert with a glass of port, tea or coffee.

Day 2 – SEIT All Package
This pass is a combination of two individual half day tours - be captivated by sunrise with the Kata Tjuta tour, then be entranced by sunset on the Uluru tour. This pass with SEIT Outback Australia combines the best of both icons with flexibility. From your accommodation, you journey toward Kata Tjuta (The Olgas) in time for sunrise. Take a walk to the best vantage point to see the 36 domes that comprise this spiritual place while watching the sun's morning glow as the desert comes alive. You will then proceed to the western side of Kata Tjuta where you will have the opportunity to relax and enjoy a gourmet picnic breakfast. As you approach the entrance to Walpa Gorge, named for the wind that whistles between the massive domes that shape Kata Tjuta, the result of eons of weathering and continual upheaval, your guide will share the significance of this men's sacred ceremonial site. During a stroll between these mighty conglomerate rock walls your guide explains how the environment and the geology has evolved over millions of years. On completion of your journey your guide will then return to your accommodation at Ayers Rock Resort
Afternoon SEIT Uluru Sunset
Enjoy the view as the spectre of Uluru (Ayers Rock) rises from the dunes to demonstrate its enormity and presence in this country. Your first stop allows you a photographic opportunity of this amazing icon. With Uluru looming in front of you, you will journey toward the base with your guide. Walk to a place of tranquillity, and the closer you wander the more you surrender to the realisation of the sheer size of this monolith. As you drive around the base, your guide will take you to the entrance of Mutitjulu Waterhole, a semi-permanent watercourse nestled in the contours of Uluru. Here you will learn the Creation stories of Liru (poisonous snake) and Kuniya (python) and their battle for control of Uluru as well as a number of other stories associated with other prominent Tjukurrpa (Dreaming) stories. You will see the rock art of the ancients and learn how Uluru was, and still is, a significant location for teaching young Aboriginal people. You then adjourn to the Talinguru Nyakunytjaku viewing area where you will observe an uninterrupted view of Uluru with Kata Tjuta (The Olgas) in the background. On completion of your journey your guide will then return to your accommodation at Ayers Rock Resort.
