ARGENTINA, CHILE - JOURNEY TO CAPE HORN

Day 1 Buenos Aires
Arrival at Hotel Kenton Palace Buenos Aires. 

Day 2 Buenos Aires
Half day city tour to visit the highlights of the city.  

Day 3 Buenos Aires  
Day at leisure for own activities.  Optional: Visit of an Estancia inclusive barbecue lunch. 

Day 4 Buenos Aires - Pto Madryn
Flight to Trelew and transfer to Puerto Madryn. On the way visit Punta Tombo, a unique part of Patagonia and home to the world’s largest colony of Magellanic penguins. Overnight Hotel Peninsula Valdes. 

Day 5 Puerto Madryn
Full day excursion to visit the Peninsula Valdés for wildlife observation incl. sea lion colonies (Basis 2 pax Seat-in). Optional: from September until November Whale Watching. 

Day 6  Puerto Madryn - El Calafate
Flight to El Calafate, situated at the southern border of Lake Argentino. Overnight Hotel Kosten Aike. 

Day 7 El Calafate
Full day excursion to visit the Perito Moreno Glacier (Basis 2 pax Seat-in). 

Day 8 El Calafate - Paine
Transfer from El Calafate to the Paine National Park in Chile (Basis 2 pax in regular bus w/o guide). 2 Overnights at Hosteria Rio Serrano. 

Day 9 Torres del Paine
Full day excursion to the National Park Torres del Paine visiting the Laguna Amarga and the Cascada Rio Paine. In the afternoon boat ride (Seat-in) to Grey Glacier (excursion is only possible from October till March). 

Day 10 Paine - Punta
Arenas Transfer to Punta Arenas (Basis 2 pax in regular bus w/o guide). City tour in Punta Arenas and overnight Hotel Cabo de Hornos. 

Day 11 Stella Australis Cruise
Embarkation on the very comfortable expedition ship Stella Australis for a 5 day cruise around Cape Horn from Chile to Argentina. The cruise includes full board, daily guided excursions by zodiacs to visit glaciers, islands and for wildlife
observation (visit Cape Horn depending on weather conditions). 

Day 15  Ushuaia
Arrival at Ushuaia pier and disembarkation. Visit of the southernmost city in the world and visit to the Museum of the End of the World. Overnight Hotel Los Yamanas. 

Day 16 Ushuaia - Buenos Aires
Flight to Buenos Aires and hotel transfer. Tango Show at „El Viejo Almacén“ (Basis 2 pax on SIB w/o guide). Overnight Hotel Kenton Palace Buenos Aires. 

Day 17 Buenos Aires
ransfer to the airport and homebound flight.
