BOLIVIA - ORIGINAL SOUTH AMERICA

Day 1  Santa Cruz 
Arrival to Santa Cruz and overnight at Hotel Cortez.  

Day 2   Santa Cruz  
Morning city tour of Bolivia´s largest and most populous city. Remaining day at leisure.  

Day 3   Santa Cruz - Samaipata - Santa Cruz 
Full day visit to El Fuerte, a pre-Incan ceremonial site located in Samaipata. Lunch included. 

Day 4  Santa Cruz - Concepción 
Depart to San Javier, the oldest mission in Bolivia, founded in 1692, today a parish working closely with the local Chiquitano people. Continue to Concepción, a town in the lowlands of Eastern Bolivia. Lunch and dinner included. Overnight at Hotel Concepcion.  

Day 5  Concepción - Santa Cruz 
In the morning city tour of Concepción. After lunch, return to Santa Cruz.  

Day 6  Santa Cruz - Sucre 
Flight to Sucre, the capital and most beautiful city of Bolivia. Overnight at Hostal De Su Merced. 

Day 7  Sucre 
City tour of Sucre. Visit to Cal Orck’o to see part of the more than 25.000m2 wall with dinosaur steps and fossilized rest of turtles, crocodiles and fishes from the Cretacic period. 

Day 8   Sucre - Potosí   
Private overland transfer to Potosí, famous for its mining. In the afternoon city tour including the Royal Mint Museum. Overnight at Hotel Santa Teresa. 

Day 9  Potosí - Luna Salada 
Visit of a colonial mine in Potosí. Transfer (5h) to Uyuni, the gateway to the Salt Desert. Visit the antique train cemetery, 3km outside of Uyuni. Dinner and overnight at Salt Hotel  Luna Salada.  

Day 10 Luna Salada - Villamar 
Excursion to the Salt Desert, visiting Colchani village, Incahuasi Island and the Galaxy Caves. Lunch and dinner       included. Overnight at Lodge Mallku Cueva in Villamar.  

Day 11  Villamar - Luna Salada  
Visit Laguna Colorada, a shallow salt lake. Continue to visit the geysirs of Sol de Mañana and Laguna Verde, a stunning blue-green lake at the foot of the volcano Licancabur. Return to Colchani. Box Lunch and dinner included. Overnight at Salt Hotel Luna Salada. 

Day 12 Luna Salada - La Paz  
Early in the morning transfer to Uyuni train station to take a train to Oruro. From here, transfer by public bus to La Paz. Overnight at Hotel Plaza.

Day 13 La Paz -Titicaca Lake - La Paz 
Full day excursion to Lake Titicaca. Visit the famous     cathedral of the Black Madonna in Copacabana before   departing by catamaran to Sun Island for an extensive visit. Lunch included.   

Day 14 La Paz - Coroico - La Paz  
Full day visit to Coroico, a hill top town in the tropical Yungas region, 3 hours away from La Paz. Lunch included. 

Day 15 La Paz 
Visit to the famous, pre-Columbian archaeological site of Tiwanacu. City tour of La Paz and visit to the Moon Valley. 

Day 16 La Paz - Rurrenabaque  
Flight to Rurrenabaque, the jungle region of Bolivia and gateway to the Madidi National Park. Overnight at Hotel Isla de los Tucanes. 

Day 17 Rurrenabaque - Madidi National Park
Transfer by bus and boat to Chalalan Ecolodge.
In the evening first short walk and night time activity.  Fullboard included (Lodge services on seat-in basis). 

Day 18 Madidi National Park 
Jungle excursions throughout the day. Fullboard included. 

Day 19 Madidi National Park - La Paz 
After a last morning excursion, return to Rurrenabaque and flight to La Paz.  

Day 20 La Paz 
Transfer to the airport and individual departure flight.
