Day 1 Bogotá
Arrival in Bogotá and transfer to the hotel.
Day 2 Bogotá
Half day city tour incl. visit of the famous Paloquemao market, the Gold Museum, Botero Museum and the statue of Guadalupe. Afternoon at leisure.
Day 3 Bogotá
Visit of the underground salt cathedral Zipaquirá, the legendary lagoon of Guatavita and the farm of a local family to learn more about their daily live. Lunch included.
Day 4 Bogotá-Armenia
Flight to Armenia, located in the „coffee triangle“ of Colombia. In the afternoon meeting with specialists to learn more about the coffee making process. Guests can pluck and roast beans and in the end enjoy their personal coffee.
Day 5 Coffee Triangle
Full day visit of the fascinating Cocora Valley with its palm trees; visit of the picturesque village Salento; proceed to Filandia to enjoy a marvellous panoramic view of the Cordillera.
Day 6 Armenia - Cartagena
Half day visit of a coffee hacienda incl. coffee tasting; transfer to ARM-airport and flight to Cartagena, located at the Caribbean coast.
Day 7 Cartagena
City tour in Cartagena and visit of the Convent La Popa, Photo-Stop at San Felipe fort, then walking tour in the historical centre of Cartagena with visit of the San Pedro Claver Monastery.
Day 8 Cartagena - Quito
Flight to Quito in Ecuador.
Day 9 Quito
Half day city tour including visit of the Equatorial Line Monument and the Ethnographical Museum, which shows the history of the Indian cultures of Ecuador.
Day 10 Quito
Day at leisure. Optional: Full day famous Otavalo handicrafts market.
Day 11 Quito
End of the roundtrip and departure flight or extension program on the Galapagos Islands as Island Hopping program or Galápagos Cruise.
