DAY 01 – EUROPE – DELHI
Arrival in Delhi, transfer assistance from airport to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

 

DAY 02 – IN DELHI
Breakfast. In the morning start the city tour, visit old Delhi – Photo stop at Red Fort: the red stone wall fort, Jama Masjid: largest mosque in India and Raj Gath: The memorial of Mahatma Gandhi where he was cremated. In New Delhi visit - Rajpath, India Gate: The 42m high stone "Arch of Triumph", erected in the memory of Indian soldiers who died in First World War. Drive past Rashtrapati Bhawan & Parliament House. Visit the Qutab Minar: The building complex dates back to the onset of Muslim rule in India and are fine examples of Afghan architecture. Dinner & overnight at hotel.

 

DAY 03 – IN DELHI
Breakfast, AM - visit the Lotus temple of Bahai faith, Laxmi Narayan Temple (Birla temple) Garishly coloured modern temple is erected by the industrialist Birla. Sikh temple Gurudwara Bangla Sahib.  PM - Excursion to Akshardham temple. Dinner & overnight at hotel.

 

DAY 04 – DELHI – JAIPUR
Breakfast, check-out from hotel. Depart for Jaipur, arrive and check-in at hotel. PM - visit the Birla temple and see the evening prayer ceremony and visit the Albert Hall for a photo stop.                    Dinner & overnight at hotel.
 

DAY 05 – JAIPUR – AMBER – JAIPUR
Breakfast. Excursion to Amber Fort, with a joy ride on an Elephant. Afternoon visit City Palace  which was constructed by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh. It also house sequence of gardens, courtyards & buildings with a mix of Rajasthani & Mughal architecture, Jantar Mantar – the royal observatory -  World heritage site, built by Maharaja Jai Singh, also do a photo stop at Jal Mahal and Hawa Mahal - the Palace of Winds and bazaars. Dinner & Overnight at hotel.

 

DAY 06 – JAIPUR / FATEHPUR SIKRI / AGRA
Breakfast and check-out from hotel. Depart for Agra. Enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri, It was the capital of  Moghul emperor Akbar, The emperor at 26 years did not have a heir, he went to a saint Shaikh Salim Chishti who lived in a city called Sikri. His blessing gave Akbar 3 sons. As a gesture, Akbar built a whole new city in Sikri. It was built between 1569 & 1585 and was intended to be the joint capital with Agra, but was soon deserted because the water system could not support any residents. Later proceed to Agra and check-in at hotel. PM - at leisure.                  Dinner & overnight at hotel.


DAY 07 – IN AGRA
Breakfast, Full day sight-seeing of Agra, visit the Taj Mahal – constructed by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in remembrance of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. The Taj has continued to be a mark of love since ever. Lunch at a restaurant.
Visit Agra fort – it is positioned on the banks of Yamuna River. It is known as Red Fort because it is built of red sandstone. You can also visit inside some of the most beautiful structural designs of the Mughal Period Pearl Mosque, Diwan-i-Khas, Diwan-i-Aam and Jehangiri Mahal. Dinner & overnight at hotel.

 

DAY 08 – AGRA – DELHI – EUROPE
Breakfast and check-out. AM - visit the Mother Teresa ashram and Itmad-ud-daula Tomb. Afterwards drive to Delhi. One can have lunch at Midaway restaurant. Arrive in Delhi and proceed to a local restaurant for dinner. Later transfer assistance to international airport to board flight for return journey.
