We offer you the Portuguese Way from Tui to Santiago de Compostela. Passing by the provinces of Pontevedra and ACorur'ia, you will ünd a a route with few slopes and many beautiful Iandscapes in the Galician coast. lt is also good to know, it is the second most chosen option when walking the Way.
 

Day 1:
Arrival at Tui (transfer from Santiago ariport/ station to Tui)
After arriving at Tui, you will be able to enjoy the many charms of this town in the border with Portugal. Some of the most remarkable places are the International Bridge over the
River Mino, the remains of the wal (12th Century), the Porta da Pia, the Cathedral of Santa Maria and the Diocesan Museum, the Chapel of San Telmo and the Convent of the nuns of the Order of St. Clare. In the outskirts, you can visit the Gothic church of Santo Domingo. Accommodation in Tui.
 

Day 2:
Stage l: Tui - O Porririo (18,7 km)
Breakfast in Tui. You will begin the route towards O Porrino. Once you have arrived at this town, you can see the Town Hall, the "Botica Nueva", the Fountain of the Christ and the Templete de San Luis". We also recommend you to taste the bread of 0 Porrir'lo, famous for its flavour and texture. Ac-commodation in 0 Porrifio.
 

Day 3:
Stage 2: O Porrir'io - Redondela (15,2 km)
Breakfast in 0 Porrino. Arriving at Redondela, located on the end of the Estuary of Vigo, you will find a Roman Milestone. This is just a way of welcoming the pilgrim to the village, as you will also have the opportunity to visit many other places such as the pilgrims hostel, the house of Santa Teresa, the Convent of Vilavella or the church of Santiago. ln addition, you will be able to go for a lovely walk around the park of Alameda. Day 4:
Stage 3: Redondela - Pontevedra (15,5 km)
Breakfast in Redondela. On this day you will arrive at the ürst city on the Portuguese Way in Spain. Walking around the historic district of Pontevedra, you can visit the Sanctuary of the Pilgrim Virgin. Going though the "porta do Cami'r'lo", you will enter the Ferreria Sguare, a place full of bars and terraces, where you can also find the Convent of San Francisco. Close to this, you can see the Souare of the Star, the House of the Faces, the Gardens of Castro Sampedro and the Provincial Museum. Accommodation in Pontevedra.
 

Day 5:
Stage 4: Pontevedra - Caldas de Reis (21,5 km)
Breakfast in Pontevedra. Apart from being the birthplace of the King Alfonso Vll of León, Caldas represents a place of relaxation, as its therapeutic thermal baths are really famous. You can also take a stroll around the town and visit places like the church of Santa Maria and the church of Santo Tomás Becket, or even the botanic garden. Accommodation in Caldas de Reis.
 

Day 6:
Stage 5: Caldas de Reis - Padrón (19,5 km)
Breakfast in Caldas de Reis. Padrón is well-known for being the town where the lifeless body of St. James disembarked, in 44 AD. Amongst the places to visit, you have the church of Santiago, the Bridge of Santiago, the Fountain of Carmen, the Convent of Carmen and the House A Matanza (Museum House of Rosalíade Castro). From this area are also typical the peppers of Padrón. Accommodation in Padrón.
 

Day 7:
Stage 6: Padrón - Santiago de Compostela (24,3 km)
Breakfast in Padrón. Ready for the last stage, you will leave Padrón heading to Santiago de Compostela. Once in Santiago de Compostela, you will have the opportunity to see an endless amount of landmarks. The main one is the Cathedral and the Plaza de! Obradoiro", but that does not mean those are the only remarkable places, as it is also recommendable to take a stroll around the historic district, to taste the gastronomy and to visit some other iconic buildings such as "Hostal de los Reyes Católicos", "Monasterio de San Martín Pinario" or "Pazo de Raxoi". Breakfast in Santiago de Compostela and transfer to the airport/station.
