Day 1: Washington Arrival in Washington! Transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 2: Washington The Landmarks remaining from the time of Jefferson, Washington and Adams were supposed to document the connection between the new republic and the classical examples of Athens and Rome. See the distinguished area where the embassies are located as well as all the important landmarks and sights of the city. In this list we include the White House, the FBI building, the National Archives, the Capitol, US senate, Lincoln and Washington Memorials and the “Mall”. The visit of the cemetery in Arlington should be included – it is the last resting place of the Kennedy family. Conquer Georgetown, a lovely but busy port from the 18th century that is nowadays the most famous quarter of the city with an active night life. The Smithsonian Institution's National Air and Space Museum maintains the largest collection of historic air and spacecraft in the world. Cryptologists, masters of disguise, and former officials of the CIA, FBI, and KGB are among the advisers of the Spy Museum, which displays the largest collection of spy artifacts anywhere in the world. The National Gallery of Art houses one of the finest collections in the world 
illustrating major achievements in painting, sculpture, decorative arts, and works on paper from the middle Ages to the present.

Day 3: Washington – Philadelphia Departure to Philadelphia via Maryland and Delaware! If time permits a stopover in Baltimore can be included. The centerpiece of downtown Baltimore is the Inner Harbor, a vibrant and beautiful waterfront. It has been one of the major seaports in the United States since the 1700s and started blossoming into the cultural center of Baltimore in the 1970s. Apx. 145 mi/230 km

Day 4: Philadelphia Visit one of the historically most significant cities in the US – Philadelphia, America’s Cradle of Liberty. Philadelphia was founded in 1682 by William Penn. It was here that Congress announced the Declaration of Independence. Philadelphia is also the city in which the Constitution of the United States was published. This vital city, with its historic center, combines modern skyscrapers with cobblestone streets and conveys a unique atmosphere with the charm of the 18th / 19th centuries and the impressions of the 20th century. Visit the historic area, the Benjamin Franklin Parkway with the Franklin Institute, Fairmont Park, Elfreth’s Alley and Society Hill, the National Historic Independence Park with Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, City Hall, Logan Circle, the Art Museum of Philadelphia, Rodin Museum, Germantown, Franz Daniel Pastorius Monument, etc.

Day 5: Philadelphia - New York Today you will travel through the “Garden State “New Jersey to New York. Apx. 100 mi / 155 km

Day 6 - 7: New York New York City is the largest city in the United States with over 8.2 million residents. The center of the New York metropolitan area, ranks among the largest urban areas in the 
East Coast Highlights - by car or rail

Day 8: New York – Boston Departure for Boston! In Connecticut we recommend a stop at the famous Yale University located in New Haven. If time permits a visit to Newport, RI, can be included. This beautifully located town is called “America’s First Resort” after many of America’s wealthiest individuals (including the Vanderbilt’s) built magnificent summer homes here. Today, many of these mansions are museums and can be visited. In the afternoon arrival in Boston and check-in! Apx. 220 mi / 350 km 

Day 9: Boston Enjoy a full day in Boston with all its attraction. Many can easily be explored by foot. Notable sights include Boston Common. See the old town of Boston, Beacon, Boston Tea Party, the Old North Church, Bunker Hill Monument and visit the famous Harvard University in Cambridge across the Charles Rivers. Spend some time walking on the Freedom Trail with the most important historic monuments of the city that includes Boston Tea Party, Faneuil Hall, Paul Revere House, Old State House and Copley Square with Trinity Church. While in Boston we recommend a whale watch cruise on a high-speed catamaran (Apr - Oct) or a visit to the New England Aquarium!
