Day 1: San Francisco / Arrival

Day 2: San Francisco You have all day to explore this fascinating city.  Many highlights are so close to each other that you can easily discover them on a walking tour.  

Day 3: San Francisco - Fresno Today's highlight will be the visit of Yosemite National Park. Breathtaking outlooks, impressive granite rocks and marvelous waterfalls are waiting for you. Apx. 500 km / 312 mi 

Day 4: Fresno - Las Vegas You drive through the dry and hot desert area of Death Valley, the lowest point of the Western Hemisphere to Las Vegas, the gamblers' city. Apx. 772 km / 482 mi 

Day 5: Las Vegas Take advantage of the day to explore the numerous Casinos and Theme Hotels and consider visiting one of the famous shows (optional) in the evening.  A helicopter flight (optional) over the neon light Strip may reveal the highlight of your day.  

Day 6: Las Vegas - Bryce Canyon NP You will stand in awe discovering the Zion National Park with its fascinating rock formations and breathtaking color shades. Later on you will have the chance to admire the sculpture like Sandstone towers of the Bryce Canyon. Apx. 410 km / 256 mi 

Day 7: Bryce Canyon NP - Grand Canyon NP The Grand Canyon is on your program today. A helicopter flight (optional)  gives you that sensation which goes under your skin. Apx. 480 km / 300 mi 

Day 8: Grand Canyon NP - Phoenix Phoenix/Scottsdale, a metropolis of a million inhabitants with Western flair in the Arizona desert  
is waiting for you. Apx. 415 km / 259 mi   

Day 9: Phoenix - San Diego You drive through the Sonora desert with the characteristic Saguaro cacti to San Diego.  Apx. 575 km / 359 mi   

Day 10: San Diego Enjoy the day visiting Old Town with its Mexican flair or Sea World (optional) which is world-known for its trained killer whale Shamu. For the evening, we would recommend dinner at the Gas Lamp District.  

Day 11: San Diego - Los Angeles On your way you have the possibility to visit Disneyland (optional).  Los Angeles is the second largest city in the USA with Apx. 16 million people. Apx. 200 km / 125 mi   

Day 12: Los Angeles You get a good overview of the city by taking a city tour (optional).  In the afternoon, you may want to enjoy a visit to Universal Studios.  

Day 13: Los Angeles - San Luis Obispo The itinerary takes you through Malibu along the picturesque coast to Santa Barbara, where State Street with its attractive boutiques, coffee shops and bars as well as the beach promenade invite you for a stroll.  You continue to San Luis Obispo. Apx. 327 km / 204 mi    

Day 14: San Luis Obispo - San Francisco The drive along the world-famous Pacific Coast Highway (depending on the weather) will be the last stretch of your trip. Monterey with the famous Cannery Road is worth a stop. Apx. 400 km / 250 mi
