Day 1 Buenos Aires
Arrival in Buenos Aires and transfer to the hotel.

Day 2 Buenos Aires
Half day city tour to visit the main sights of Buenos Aires.  

Day 3 Buenos Aires
Day at leisure. Optional: Visit the cattle market at   Liniers district.

Day 4  Buenos Aires - Salta
Flight to Salta and transfer to the hotel. Afterwards city tour in Salta.  

Day 5  Salta - Purmamarca
Your full day excursion to Purmamarca starts with the transfer through the spectacular Quebrada de Humahuaca, Unesco World Cultural Heritage, to Tilcara with its Pucará. Continue further north and stop at Uquia Church and Humahuaca where you can appreciate the nice handicraft market and the Belgrano monument. In Purmamarca you can appreciate the Cerro de Siete Colores (Seven Coloured Hill). Transfer to the hotel.

Day 6 Purmamarca - Salta
Early transfer to the Salinas Grandes (Salt Lakes). Follow the rails of the Tren a las Nubes and traversing the colourful Quebrada del Toro where you will see how nature is changing with the altitude you are reaching, until getting up to 4000 m. The next stop will be San Antonio de los Cobres (3776 m) where you will have time for lunch. Transfer to Salta.  

Day 7 Salta - Cafayate
Today you will make an excursion to the valley of Calchaqui and Cachi. You will cross Cuesta del Opispo (Bishop’s Slope) at 3348 m. Continue to the Recta de Tin Tin crossing the National Park Los Cardones and passing by Payogasta,  before you’ll reach the typical village Cachi. Arrival in Cafayate and transfer to the hotel.  

Day 8 Cafayate - Tucumán
In the morning you will visit the Quilmes ruins, citadel of this indigenous population against the Spanish siege. You will see the picturesque village Tafí del Valle (2000 m) and reach over winding streets „down“ through the steaming jungle Tucumán. Transfer to the hotel.

Day 9 Tucumán - Buenos Aires
City tour in Tucumán. Flight to Buenos Aires and transfer to the hotel.  

Day 10  Buenos Aires - Montevideo
Transfer by Buquebus to Colonia de Sacramento. Welcome at the pier and beginning of the city walk. Transfer to Montevideo, the capital of Uruguay.

Day 11 Montevideo
City tour inclusive stop at the Plaza de Constitucion with the cathedral and the colonial town hall. Survey the magnificent  Teatro Solis. Transfer to the Plaza Independencia with the monument of Artigas, a national hero, and the mausoleum.

Day 12 Montevideo
On our bodega tour along the wine route you will visit two different kind of vineyards inclusive lunch with typical   uruguayan barbecue.  

Day 13 Montevideo - Punta del Este
Transfer to the famous seaside resort of Punta del Este. En route visit the place Piriápolis, which was founded in 1893 from Francesco Piriá, an alchemisten, and its castle. In Punta Ballena you will visit the Casa Pueblo, home and studio of the famous artist Carlos Paez Vilaro. Arrival in Punta del Este with city tour and visit the foundation museum of Galli with an amazing collection of sculptures and pictures inclusive some works of Salvador Dalí. Continue to the rope bridge in La Barra and transfer to the hotel.

Day 14 Punta del Este - La Paloma
Your first visit today will be the Laguna de Castillos, a wonderful lagoon for nature lovers, which is an official nature reserve since 1996 and protected by the UNESCO. At „Bosque de Ombues“, a forest with Ombu trees, resides centuries-old Ombu trees compied with the native Flora and Fauna. Near the small Hippie-village Valizas are located giant wandering dunes and the National Park Cabo Polonio. You will reach the calm fishing village with special off-road vehicles. The scattered huts and cottages give this area  a unique charme. Transfer to La Paloma to your hotel.

Day 15 La Paloma - Minas - Montevideo
On the way to Montevideo you will visit the city of Minas. Continue to Villa Serrana, built in 1945 from the architect Julio Vilamajó in European style. Transfer to Salto del Penitente, a 50m high waterfall situated in a wonderful, pristine nature. After arrival in Minas short city tour and time for lunch. On the way to Montevideo stop at „Cerro Arequita“, a 230m high giant of granit. Overnight in Montevideo.

Day 16 Montevideo
Day at leisure for own activities. We recommend to visit the market “Tristán Narvaja” (SUN, 9 – 14 h) offering food like vegetable and fruits as well as clothes, books, furnitures and rummage. Day 17 Montevideo Transfer to the airport for your homebound flight.
