Itinerary

Day 1. Arrival to Bangkok and night safari in the city (-/-/-)  

Arrival and transfer to your hotel accommodation. Think of Bangkok and see skyscrapers, glass and steel, sleek sky trains and high society. See the sun sink and the city lights go on from any of the Bangkok’s rooftops. Seeing the city and the river stretch out below you is an unforgettable sight. Back on ground level cruise the streets in your noisy tuktuk, past China Town and Silom-road. Browse either at Patpong nightbazar or new Asiatique on the riverside, your choice! You will get active only when the Thai get active too; when the sun sinks and the heat is less.

 

Day 2. Bangkok - Canals – Wat Pho and the Grand Palace (B/L/-)

Visit to the biggest flower market of Bangkok, afterward take a boat to explore the canals. Enjoy the natural scenery and observe the daily lives of the people who live along the canals, also stop at Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn. Visit to Wat Po, Bangkok’s oldest temple and home to the magnificent reclining Buddha. Visit to the splendid Grand Palace complex and the Royal Temple of the Emerald Buddha. 

 

Day 3. Bangkok – Kanchanaburi – Ayutthaya (B/L/-)

A trip to historic Kanchanaburi, with visits to the Allied War Cemetery, Thai-Burmese Railway Museum and the Bridge Over the River Kwai. Take a train journey on the Death Railway over the bridge and a spectacular wooden viaduct built by the POWS. Continue to Ayutthaya for overnight.

 

Day 4: Ayutthaya – Phitsanulok – Sukhothai (B/L/-)

Depart to the former capital of Thailand’s Kingdom, Ayutthaya. Exploring the Historical Park and the remained ruins form century of 14th-18th, after the invasion of the Burmese troops. Drive up north to visit Wat Maha That, in Phitsanulok. Continue to Sukhothai for overnight.

 

Day 5. Sukhothai – Chiang Rai (B/L/-)

Sukhothai is the first of Thailand’s capitals where the ruins of many temples and the Royal palace are kept as historically valuable monuments. Depart to Chiang Rai, visit Wat Rong Khun with its unique architecture and Wat Phra Kaew with its beautiful brass and copper Buddha image.

 

Day 6. Golden Triangle - Chiang Mai (B/L/-)

Visit Mae Sai. Continue to the world famous Golden Triangle to see the beautiful panoramic view of the three countries: Lao, Myanmar, Thailand. Visit the Old temple at Chiang Sean. Depart to Chiang Mai, Thailand’s second largest city located in a scenic valley in North Thailand.

 

Day 7. Baan Chang Elephant Sanctuary and sunset at Doi Suthep (B/L/-)

Depart hotel and drive to Baan Chang Elephant Park where the main goal is “to help and work for the elephants and not to make them work for us”. Baanchang Elephant Park is dedicated to provide elephants with the highest quality-of-life possible and, of course, rescue new elephants. You will enjoy "The Magical Elephant Mahout Training", a special program created for everyone to learn and interact with elephants as what a Mahout (care taker) would do daily.

Continue to Wat Prathat Doi Suthep, 1073 meters above sea level. The stairs are flanked by a dragon-serpent and once on top awaits probably your favorite temple in whole of Thailand. Also full of worshippers, scent of incense sticks and tinkling of the little temple bells. And don’t forget the view over Chiang Mai!

 

Day 8. Chiang Mai Departure (B/-/-)

Breakfast and transfer out.
