Alternative Tour

Day 1 - Meals-Lunch & Dinner

Upon arrival from International arrival flight meet and transfer for PX flight Port Moresby/Tari. Upon arrival in Tari meet and transfer to Lakwanda. At Lakwanda you will be met by the Huli wig man dancers and also followed by Huli Cultural activities as Huli widows, wig making, spirit dance, and girl’s initiation. In the afternoon return and overnight at Makara Bird View Lodge.
 

Day 2- Meals- BLD

After breakfast you begin the tour of the local Huli villages , schools and a visit to the Bachelors boys, showing you how the human Huli wig man are grown. Overnight at Makara Bird View Lodge.

Day 3- Thursday- Meals- BLD

After breakfast transfer from Lakwanda Lodge to Tari airport for your CG flight Tari/Hagen. Upon arrival meet and be given the tour of Mt, Hagen and the surrounds includes the local market, Moikep and on your way stop at Paiakona village to see the chief and his wives with a local artefacts display. In the afternoon return and overnight at Kumul Lodge

Day 4- Friday - Meals- Meals: B L D

After breakfast you begin the full day tour of the Waghi valley visiting large tea, coffee plantations as well as villages and schools and a visit to Pogla village for the Hagen Ladies, Hagen Mens dances and the mud man performance Overnight at Kumul Lodge

Day 5- Saturday – Meals- BLD

After breakfast transfer lodge to the airport for your CG flight Hagen/Wewak. Upon arrival meet and transfer to the hotel. After lunch be given the tour of Wewak and the surrounds includes the local market, look out and other areas of interest. Return and overnight at Inwewak Boutique hotel.

Day 6– Sunday - Meals: B L D

Full day road tour to Ambunti passing through Pagwi. Upon arrival jump onto a waiting wooden motorised canoe trip to Kanganamun village Guest House. Overnight at Kanganamun village

Day 7- Monday - Meals- BLD

Full day tour exploring the Sepik tributaries visiting Spirit Houses, artefacts etc.. Overnight: Kanganamun village.

Day 8- Tuesday - Meals: BLD

After breakfast transfer to Pagwi and then connect by vehicle to Wewak. Overnight at Inn wewak hotel

Day 9-Wed- Meals- BLD

After early breakfast transfer hotel to the airport for your PX flight Wewak/Madang. Upon arrival meet and transfer to the hotel. After getting settled begin the tour of Madang and the surrounds includes the local market, Balek wild life, Kalibobo light, Haus Tumbuna and a visit to Hobe village to see the Amele peoples dance, and the village activities. Return and overnight at Jais Aben Resort.

Day 10- Thursday – Meals- BLD

After breakfast you will be given a Harbour cruise of Madang and the surrounding islands. Stop at Pic island for snorkelling. After the snorkelling return for lunch and then after lunch be given a scenic drive along the North Coast. In the afternoon return and overnight at Jais Aben Resort.

Day 11- Friday – Meals- Meals- BLD

After breakfast you will transferred hotel to airport for Air Niugini flight PX Madang/ Port Moresby and connect with your POM/Rabaul. Rapopo Plantation Lodge.

Day 12 – Saturday -Meals: - BLD

After breakfast you will be given the tour of Rabaul surrounds. Rapopo Plantation Lodge.

Day 13 – Sunday -Meals: B L D

After breakfast full day tour of Rabaul/Kokopo includes the surrounding includes the Matupit Simpson Bay, WWII relics and other areas of interest. Rapopo Plantation Lodge

Day 14 – Mon-Meals: B L D

Transfer hotel to Air Niugini flight PX203 Rabaul to Port Moresby/POM and connect with your international departing flight to be nominated from your end.
