Day 01: International Airport - San Jose

Welcome to Costa Rica! One of our representatives will wait for you at the International Airport to take you to the hotel in San Jose chosen in the program. Overnight accommodations in San Jose

Day 2: San José – Tortuguero

(Full Board) Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.  Today we leave very early to Tortuguero, taking the Braulio Carrillo Highway, which will display its majestic nature. We will make a stop in Guapiles to have a delicious breakfast and then continue to the pier where we will start our boat adventure, which will allow us to see the large variety of flora and fauna. In the afternoon we will visit Tortuguero Village, where we can find a wide variety of handcrafts, and then the Green Turtle Conservation Center and watch an interesting video about these beautiful animals. Day 3: Tortuguero

(Full Board)  Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.  A new day will start with a walk in the lush tropical forest, where nature lovers can see many birds, mammals and reptile species. During the afternoon we will keep enjoying the wonders of the Caribbean in our tour of the Tortuguero. Overnight accommodations in Tortuguero

Day 04: Tortuguero – Puerto Viejo

(Breakfast) We will take a boat ride in the beautiful canals and then take the bus to a restaurant for lunch, and then proceed in our trip to the south Caribbean side of Costa Rica.  Overnight accommodations in Puerto Viejo

Day 5: Puerto Viejo

(Breakfast) In southern Caribbean we find the most beautiful beaches, enjoying Puerto Viejo, which is located in the Atlantic Ocean, in the province of Limón, and is a beach paradise for sea lovers. In the middle of exotic flora and fauna, there is a coastal town with wonderful beaches and crystal blue water. Puerto Viejo, with its unique charm, was once a quiet little fishermen’s village. With its sandy beaches, tropical vegetation and its many interesting nearby attractions, such as the Cahuita National Park, the Talamanca Indian Reserve and the Gandoca Manzanillo Wildlife Refuge, it also offers many activities, such as snorkeling, hiking, surfing or just relaxing in the sun for the rest of the day. Day 6: Puerto Viejo – Arenal

(Breakfast) Departure after breakfast to La Fortuna in San Carlos, home of the stunning Arenal Volcano; Arenal is approximately 151 km from San Jose. The Arenal area has a humid tropical climate with cool nights and an average temperature of about 19 ​​° C Overnight accommodations at Arenal                              

Day 7: Arenal

(Breakfast) Day off for you to get to know the area and enjoy some activities the area offers, such as renting an ATV, crossing hanging bridges, going zip lining, visiting the Venado caverns and La Fortuna waterfall among many other possible activities. Overnight accommodations in Arenal

Day 8: Arenal – Monteverde

(Breakfast) Today you will start the road to the mountain area of Monteverde, which has earned an international name as one of the most outstanding sanctuaries of wildlife on the tropic.  Transfer will be via the Car-Boat-Car system, which is a land transfer to the Arenal Lake, boat transfer and then land transfer to Monteverde. During this trip you will enjoy the surrounding landscapes. Overnight accommodations in Monteverde

Day 9: Monteverde

 (Breakfast)  Day off to enjoy the climate and terrain of the reserve which produces an incredibly large biodiversity that features around 400 species of birds (including the Quetzal), over 100 species of mammals, 120 species of amphibians and reptiles, and approximately 2,500 species of plants, which turns Monteverde into a true paradise. You may also go to the zip line, hanging bridges, snake house and frog pond and butterfly farm, horseback riding, coffee tour, etc   Overnight accommodations in Monteverde
               

Day 10: Monteverde- Guanacaste

(Breakfast) Today you will travel to the North Pacific Coast; Guanacaste is one of the best beach destinations in Costa Rica. Here you can enjoy activities such as world class deep sea fishing to catch the marlin , swordfish and tuna fish. Choose from a variety of water sports such as diving , snorkeling and kayaking. For those who want to leave the beach and discover the jungle and wildlife found around you have to visit one of the National Parks Santa Rosa and Palo Verde Overnight accommodations in Guanacaste
          

Day 11: Guanacaste

(Breakfast) Day off for enjoying dreamy summer days and plenty of warm beaches with turquoise waters, whether in the different activities offered, such as a zip line, kayaks, snorkeling, or just relaxing in the hotel swimming pool. Overnight accommodations in Guanacaste  

Day 12: Guanacaste – San José

(Breakfast) Last time to enjoy this beach in the morning, and during the afternoon we will go back to San Jose to spend the last night. If you have the car rental option today one of our representatives will pick up the car at your selected hotel in San Jose. Overnight accommodations in San Jose

Day 13: San José – Aeropuerto Internacional

(Breakfast) At the pre-arranged time one of our representatives will take you to the Juan Santamaría International Airport for your return home.
