Day 1 Rio de Janeiro
Arrival in Rio de Janeiro and transfer to the hotel. Rio is without a doubt one of the world’s most spectacular   metropolises. Stretched between forested mountains and the sparkling Atlantic, it is a city of long golden beaches and an exuberant cultural life.  

Day 2 Rio de Janeiro
Full day city tour to visit the main sights of the city      inclusive visit to the Sugar Loaf and the Corcovado mountain with the Christ statue. 

Day 3 Rio de Janeiro
Day at leisure for own activities or optional tours. Optional: Full day tour to Petropolis  Optional: Rio by night - Samba Show in the evening. 

Day 4  Rio - Iguassú
Flight to Foz do Iguassu. The Iguassu falls are made up of 275 separate waterfalls, providing a sensational sight! Producing vast sprays of water, it is one of the most spectacular waterfalls in the world. Visit to the Brazilian side of the falls with views of the full scale of the        cascades 

Day 5  Iguassú
Half day visit to the Argentinian Side of the Iguazu     National Park, including the Devil’s Throat with the highest continuous fall. Wonderful sights include rainbows straddling clouds of spray, screeching green parrots    flying across the waters and colorful butterflies hovering over lush greenery. The afternoon is at leisure for own activities. 

Day 6 Iguassú - Salvador
Flight to Salvador da Bahia and hotel transfer. The city of Salvador, Brazil’s capital of happiness, is famous for its cuisine, music and architecture. It’s metropolitan area is the wealthiest in Brazil’s Northeast. The African influence in many cultural aspects of the city makes it the center of Afro-Brazilian culture.   

Day 7 Salvador da Bahia
City tour of Salvador, visiting the modern suburb of Barra with its famous lighthouse and the historical part of town, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1985.   Remainder of the day at leisure. Evening optional: Enjoy an authentic Afro-Brazilian culture show with dinner.  

Day 8 Salvador da Bahia
End of the roundtrip and homebound flight or beach extension.
