Day 1: ARRIVE HANOI

Arrive in Hanoi, transfer to the hotel. Free at leisure for refreshing.

Overnight in Hanoi.

 

Day 2: HANOI CITY (B)

Today we enjoy a full day city tour of this charming capital city including the mausoleum of the nation's founder Ho Chi Minh (close on Monday & Friday), Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh‘s house on stilts, One Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature, Ethnologic Museum, West Lake, Tran Vu Pagoda, the peaceful lake of the Restored Sword. Then enjoy a traditional Vietnamese water puppet show.

Overnight in Hanoi.

 

Day 3: HA NOI – HA LONG ( B, L)

You will be driven to Ha Long Bay, which is one of the most magnificent scenic spots in all of Vietnam and was designated by UNESCO as a World Natural Heritage Site in 1994. It is a picturesque bay with some 775 islets rising from the clear emerald waters of the Gulf of Tonkin.   Washed by water and lapped by waves for hundreds of thousands of years, the limestone basin has been carved into stalactite-filled caves, crescent beaches and odd-shaped formations. Enjoy excellent fresh seafood. Later return to Hanoi.

Day 4: HANOI – HUE  (B)

Today you will take a flight to Hue, Vietnam’s former imperial capital, which sits on the Perfume River. On arrival in Hue you will transfer to your hotel.

Afternoon visit Imperial Citadel, Purple Forbidden City, the mausoleum of Emperor Tu Duc and Dong Ba market.

Day 5: HUE – DA NANG – HOI AN (B)

Morning take a boat trip on the romantic Perfume River visiting Hue’s oldest and most revered site, Thien Mu Pagoda, and the mausoleum of Emperor Minh Mang.

Afternoon Drive south to Hoi An, a recognized World Heritage Site, which famous by its ancient architecture of mixed Vietnamese, Chinese and Japanese style from the 16th century. Stop at Cham Museum which contains the finest collection of Cham sculpture in the world. Upon arrival, you will transfer to your hotel.

Overnight in Hoi An.

 

Day 6: HOI AN (B)

Morning visit this ancient town: the 200 year-old Tan Ky house, Phuc Kien Pagoda, the Assembly Hall, the former merchants’ houses, the 400 year-old Japanese Covered Bridge and the colorful riverside market. Afternoon free at leisure for refreshing

Overnight stay in Hoi An.

 

Day 7: HOI AN – DA NANG – HO CHI MINH (B)

Morning flight to Ho Chi Minh city, the most exciting city of Vietnam. Visit the Reunification Palace, the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Saigon Post Office, the War Museum, Ben Thanh Market.

Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.

 

Day 8: HO CHI MINH - CU CHI TUNNELS (B)

Excursion to the famous Cu Chi Tunnels (60 km), visit the incredible underground tunnel network of over 200 kilometers hand-constructed by Vietnam Communist guerrillas, virtually underneath the U.S. bases, to stage surprise attacks.

Afternoon back to Ho Chi Minh city, visit Saigon's Chinatown, Thien Hau Pagoda and Binh Tay Wholesale Market.

Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.

 

Day 9: HO CHI MINH – VINH LONG (B)

Travel by road into the Mekong Delta (125 km), stopping in the town of Cai Be, well-known for its floating market. We start boating to Cai Be Floating Market for first – hand experience of various commercial activities such exchanging goods, fruit and many other commodities on their vessels.

Landing on the small villages to contemplate panoramic views and fresh fruits; we keep cruising to Vinh Long Province via small canals to enjoy the charm of the Upper Mekong Delta. We also pay a visit to some hand – made family business products such as the coconut candy mill and the crispy rice popcorn. We continue visiting Binh Hoa Phuoc village known as the green pearl of Vinh Long town where you can pamper yourself in incredible nature. Return to Ho Chi Minh city.

Day 10: HO CHI MINH – SIEM REAP (B)

In the morning, you’ll fly to Siem Riep in northern Cambodia to visit the fabulous ancient sites of Angkor, one of the great wonders of world. The grandeur of this bygone civilization is truly astounding. You will visit Angkor Thom (or "Great City") which is in some ways even more spectacular than the colossal Angkor Wat, as it has nearly disappeared into the jungle.

You will be met and transferred to your comfortable hotel for check in (subject to room availability). The tour will take you to Angkor Wat, a World Heritage Site since 1992, famous for its beauty and splendor. Angkor Wat features the longest continuous bas-relief in the world, which runs along the outer gallery walls and narrates stories from Hindu mythology.  After that, you can visit Bakheng Temple and enjoy a romantic sunset view form Bakheng Hill before an overnight stay in Siem Reap.

 

Day 11: ANGKOR WAT (B)

You will embark on an elephant ride from the South Gate of Angkor Thom through the jungle to the famous Bayon temple, unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara, Baphoun.  You will also see the Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. In the afternoon you will continue to visit fabulous Ta Prohm (embraced by the roots of enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers), Pre Rup, East Mebon, Krovan, Srah Srang, Banteay Kdei and Ta Keo.  

Overnight in Siem Reap.

 

Day 12: DEPARTURE (B)

You will board a boat on Tonle Sap Lake and enjoy a brief cruise past floating villages complete with schools, restaurants, hospitals, and the school known as "Les Artisans d'Angkor." You will then transfer to Siem Reap International Airport for your departing flight.
