Holland owes much of its world fame to such Dutch icons as tulips, wooden shoes, cheese, windmills and the Amsterdam canals. You can also find very tasty food items in Holland. Small and Family V.I.P. Tours for 3 days/2 nights based in a 4* hotel in Amsterdam with private transfers, entrances and Dutch food tasting will show you Holland at its best! Our Small and Family V.I.P. tours gives you the opportunity to see the real Holland and taste great food on your way. This program can also be fit to a larger group or several items can be picked for your own taylor-made program. All tours can be adjusted to the size of your group and your interests, so kindly inform us with your wishes and we will send you the possibilities accordingly.

Itinerary per day

Day 1: Meet and greet with your driver at Schiphol Airport or the port of IJmuiden for the transfer to your 4* hotel in Amsterdam Centre. Your tour will start with a city tour to acquaint yourself with the city and find out the best spots for shopping and restaurants!  The driver will drop you off at ‘Amsterdam Canal Cruises, where the program for the following days will be explained. Starting with  a 90 minutes canal cruise, you will see Amsterdam from the water at its prettiest. A real Dutch treat is served; raw herring! The cruise is followed by a visit and tour of Heineken Experience, you will be able to taste the famous Dutch Heineken beer afterwards.

Day 2: Pick up at the reception area at 8:30 AM for a tour through the countryside by private transportation (tour can also be initiated by public transportation – tickets can be provided, program can be adjusted). First visit ‘Zaanse Schans’, one of the highlights of The Netherlands. The village is packed with wooden windmills, barns, houses and museums and built in the typically Dutch wooden architectural style.

At your own pace you will visit the Zaanse Schans’ Cheese Farm Catharina hoeve, the Clog Maker, a Bakery and enjoy lunch at restaurant ‘The Kraai’. You will receive coupons for the entrance, tours and tastings. Your driver will point out all interesting highlights of the Dutch countryside and will allow for photo-stops along the way. (Optional tour to Fisherman Village Volendam, fishing expedition and eel tasting)
