From Sissi to Mozart

Day 1 - Arrival in Vienna

Arrival at your hotel in Vienna. The remainder of the day is yours to spend at leisure. Welcome dinner at a traditional restaurant or at your hotel.

Day 2 - Vienna

After breakfast you start with a panoramic city tour that provides you with an overview of Vienna. Following your panoramic city tour, you visit the imposing Schönbrunn Palace. Lunch on your own in the city centre. The afternoon will be spent in the old town of Vienna. Enjoy a city walk with following visit to the Imperial Palace. Dinner at a traditional restaurant or at your hotel. Overnight stay in Vienna.

Day 3 - Vienna

After breakfast let yourself be enchanted by the prescious Lipizzan stallions at the Spanish Riding School. Admire the horses during their morning exercise before visiting the Albertina. Lunch at local restaurant. The afternoon is yours to spend at leisure. Dinner with following classical concert at the Kursalon.

Day 4 - Vienna-Krems/Wachau Valley

After breakfast transfer to Krems located in the beautiful Wachau Valley. Upon arrival in Krems enjoy a walking tour through the old town. Lunch at local restaurant or at your hotel. The afternoon is yours to spend at leisure. In the early afternoon enjoy a visit to the Sandgrube 13.wein.sinn including a wine tasting session. Dinner at a traditional local wine tavern. Overnight stay in Krems.

Day 5 - Krems-(Dürnstein)-(Melk)-Salzburg

After breakfast you discover the beautiful Wachau Valley from the water and enjoy a river cruise on the river Danube from Krems to Dürnstein (during the summer months only). 
Upon arrival in Dürnstein enjoy a walking tour through the charming village before continuing to Melk. Lunch at local restaurant in Melk. In the afternoon you visit the impressive Benedictine Abbey of Melk. Then onward journey to Salzburg. Dinner at local restaurant or at your hotel. Overnight stay in Salzburg.

Day 6 - Salzburg

After breakfast enjoy a walking tour through the old town of Salzburg. You stroll through the famous Getreidegasse and walk past attractions such as the DomQuarter, the Salzburg Dome, the Fortress Hohensalzburg, Mozart's Residence, Mozart's Birthplace, Café Fürst, Mirabell Palace and many more. Afterwards visit to Mozart's Birthplace. Lunch on your own. Cable railway ride to the Fortress Hohensalzburg and visit to the fortress premises. Balance afternoon at leisure. Dinner at local restaurant or at your hotel.
Overnight stay in Salzburg.

Day 7 - Salzburg

No Salzburg visit goes by without having been acquainted with the Trapp family. Enjoy your “Sound of Music Tour”. Lunch at local restaurant upon arrival back in Salzburg. The afternoon is yours to spend at leisure. Farewell dinner at a traditional restaurant or at your hotel. Overnight stay in Salzburg.

Day 8 - Departure from Salzburg

After breakfast you start your homeward journey. Have a safe trip!
