Temples & City – For second time visitors

For an orientation of the city, visit Wat Ratchanatdaram, the only still existing metal palace in the world, the amulet market where Thais buy and exchange Buddha images, the Giant Swing and Wat Suthat for its outstanding Ordination Hall and beautifully crafted wooden doors.

Another option is to witness interesting ritual ceremonies at the biggest Chinese Temple in the capital Wat Lengnoeiyi, visit an outstanding Hindu temple set in the heart of Bangkok Wat Sri Mahamariamman which can be traced back to the latter half of the nineteenth century. And perhaps you may end your trip at Soi LaLaisap which is the one of busiest shopping areas known only among locals and its name means “Shop-until-you-drop”!

Unseen Bangkok Biking

A bike ride to explore the back alleyways of Chinatown and experience the unique “street life” and its lively market of this colorful neighborhood. Damnoen Saduak Floating Market

Early morning departure by road from Bangkok to Damnoen Saduak, the most colorful floating market in the Kingdom. Enjoy the beautiful sights along the way and witness the day-to-day activities of the Thai people who live on the canals selling their fresh fruits and vegetables from the surrounding villagers’ farms. Ancient City & Erawan Museum

A visit to the famous open-air museum, 33 km from Bangkok, where replicas of 116 Thailand’s most important historical and archaeological monuments are assembled.

Then visit the Erawan Museum. A huge, three-headed elephant statue standing upon an equally gargantuan pedestal is the first, and last, thing you see when visiting the museum. It’s a splendid, towering beast: 250 tons in weight, 29 meters high, 39 meters long, and cast in a pure green-hued copper. From conception to completion it took almost ten years to construct.
Even if you put the priceless heritage of the museum aside, this gigantic, majestic structure is enough in itself to demand a visit.
