Morning visit to the historical center of Mexico City: Reforma Boulevard with Monuments, Zocalo Main Square with National Palace, Mural Paintings, Cathedral, View on former Aztec Main Temple (from outside) and Chapultepec Park area. Early afternoon visit to the National Museum of Antropology (closed on Mondays) with its main exhibition rooms about prehispanic cultures. Afternoon return to your hotel. rest of the day at leisure.

TEOTIHUACAN & BASILICA DE GUADALUPE (Brf)

Breakfast at your hotel.

Morning drive out of Mexico City. On the way, visit the Sanctuary of the Virgin of Guadalupe. See the Old & New Basilica, Tepeyac Hill and small chapels, as well as the original piece of cloth with the Virgin's image in the most important pilgrimage site for catholics in Latin America. Afterwards, proceed to the village of Teotihuacan and its archaeological site, to see there the Citadel, Quetzalcoatl Temple, Road of the Death, Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon, as well as the Palace of Quetzalpapalotl. Afternoon return to your hotel, and rest of the day at leisure.

MEXICO CITY - CUERNAVACA – TAXCO (Brf)

Morning departure from Mexico City. Drive over the southern mountains down into the valley of Cuernavaca, this so called "City of Eternal Spring", to visit here the oldest cathedral in Mexico, as well as the colorful museum Robert Brady with a fascinating exhibition of art and handcraft of various centuries and regions of the World. In the afternoon, drive from Cuernavaca into the mountains of the Southern Sierra Madre, and get finally to Taxco, the so called Silver City. Enjoy here the visit of the Borda Main Square with the Sta. Prisca church, and during some free time, explore the picturesque lanes with tile roofed houses, in which you will find silver markets and art galleries. Rest of the day at leisure in Taxco. 1 Overnight in Taxco.
