PERU & BOLIVIA - WONDERS OF THE ANDES

Day 1  Lima
Arrival in Lima and overnight at Hotel Casa Andina Classic Miraflores Centro. 

Day 2  Lima
Half day city tour through the colonial and modern Lima. Visit to the Larco Herrera archaeological museum which houses the world’s largest private collection of Peruvian  Pre-Columbian Art.  

Day 3  Lima - Iquitos
Flight to Iquitos, the largest city in the tropical rainforest. Short city tour of Iquitos and transfer by boat to the Ceiba Tops Lodge. Excursions, lunch and dinner included. 

Day 4  Iquitos
Boat excursion on the Amazon to observe dolfins and to visit the Yagua indians. In the afternoon walking tour to the small village Indiana, a former Franciscan mission.  

Day 5  Iquitos - Lima - Cusco
After breakfast flight via Lima to Cusco. Overnight at hotel Eco Inn Cusco. 

Day 6  Cusco
Half day city tour inclusive visit to the Plaza de Armas, which was once the exact centre of the Incan world, and the cathedral, built on the ruins of the ancient Inca Palace and borders on other churches on both sides. Proceed to Sacsayhuaman, a ruin located 3 km above Cusco. Sacsayhuaman also offers a fabulous view of the city.            Afterwards visit the surrounding ruins. 

Day 7  Cusco - Yucay
Visit to the famous Pisac market and the important ruins of Ollantaytambo. Overnight at Posada del Inca Yucay. 

Day 8  Yucay - Machu Picchu - Cusco
Full day excursion by Belmond Vistadome train and shuttle bus to Machu Picchu. Guided visit of the famous ruin site. In the afternoon return to Cusco by bus and train. 

Day 9  Cusco - Puno
Full day overland bus transfer to Puno including lunch (for FIT´s on seat-in basis) and visit of Andahuaylillas, Raqchi and Sicuani. Overnight at Hotel Jose Antonio. 

Day 10 Puno - Lake Titicaca - La Paz
Transfer by bus to Kusani. Catamaran ride on lake Titicaca to visit the Sun Island, lunch on board included. Continue by bus to La Paz. Overnight at Hotel Presidente. 

Day 11 La Paz
Half day city tour of La Paz and visit to the witch market and the Moon Valley. 

Day 12 La Paz - Lima
Flight to Lima for guests individual homebound flight.
