Peru’s South Coast – Paracas, Nazca - 03 days/02 nights

Day 01                                                                                                                  Lima – Paracas

• Public transport without guide from Lima - Paracas
• Optional: Nazca overflight from Pisco including roundtrip transfer to/from Pisco airport

This morning you will be picked up by your hotel and be transferred to the bus station to board a regular bus to Paracas.

Upon your arrival your local guide will be waiting for you to transfer you to your hotel.

Optional: Nazca overflight from Pisco 90 minutes.

During the day transfer to the small airport to take the Overflight over the Nasca Lines (from Pisco airport – 90 minutes).

The Nasca Lines are a series of ancient geoglyphs located in the Nazca Desert of Peru. They have been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A unique place in the world, full of mystery and mysticism, wonderful traces of immense figures and lines of spectacular perfection. Diverse scientific theories have been placed on these lines. Some of the figures that you will appreciate are the monkey, the spider, the Astronaut and the Humming bird.

**Remark for Nazca overflight: Due to safety regulations, the indication of your correct body weight at the moment of an overflight’s reservation is indispensable to enable an equal seat allocation in the light aircraft in order to avoid accidents or turbulences. Thank you for your understanding; it is for your personal safety.

Please note that all clients taking the overflight over the Nasca Lines (either from Nasca or Pisco) must show their original passport at the moment of the check in.

Please note that due to very limited availability of the flights, we always recommend to pre-book this flight. Note that the airlines operating the flights operate with minimum 7-8 passengers. In case this minimum is not reached, bookings cannot be confirmed.

Day 02                                                                                                                              Paracas

• Meals: Breakfast
• Visit to the Ballestas Islands (Seat-In-basis)
• Optional: Excursion to the Paracas National Reserve

This morning you will be picked up early at your hotel to start the day with a visit to the Ballestas Islands. Boarding from the pier, on your journey you will appreciate the famous Candelabro, considered to be the beginning of the Nazca Lines. Having arrived at the Ballestas Islands, you will be observing many different animal species. Whoever visits this beautiful place, will be entranced by its flora and fauna. There are seven seal rookeries located within the reserve, home of approximately five thousand sea lions. 

The greatest quantity of fur seals is concentrated on the islet of El Arquillo, where there also are sea lions, concentrated in Punta Quemada.

Rest of the day at leisure.

Optional: Paracas National Reserve

After the excursion visit the National Reserve of Paracas, declared World Heritage Natural Site by UNESCO. The only marine reservation of Peru Protection unit that has for objective the conservation of the marine ecosystem and of the characteristic formations of a portion of tropical sub desert, protection of the cultural and historical patrimony of the pre-Inca Paracas culture, and to promote the rational use of the marine resources.

Day 03                                                                                                                  Paracas – Lima

• Transfer to the bus station
• Public transport without guide Paracas - Lima
• Transfer to Lima hotel or airport

Transfer to the bus station for your public bus ride to Lima.

Upon arrival at approximately 7 pm, you’ll be picked up and taken either to the airport or to your hotel in Lima (hotel is not included and can be booked optionally).

**Remark: At the moment of booking your return flight please consider that the transfer bus station/airport takes aprox 1 hour and that passengers have to be at the airport at least 3 hours for International flight and 2 hours for domestic flight before departure.
