Day 1: Arrival Boston Today you arrive in Boston and transfer to your hotel. 

Day 2: Boston Follow the “Freedom Trail” to Boston’s most important sights on a self-guided walking tour, marked by a red brick line throughout the city.  Start at the Visitor Center on the Boston Common. 

Day 3: Boston – Cape Cod / Chatam Visit the “Plimoth Plantation” on your short drive to Cape Cod to learn about the first pilgrims. Apx. 90 mi / 145 km

Day 7: Berkshires – White Mountain National Forest / Bretton Woods The White Mountains rise in dramatic relief, cloaked with forests and laced with streams. Enjoy beautiful walks through the forest, visit the waterfalls of the region or participate in one of the many outdoor activities. Apx. 215 mi / 345 km 

Day 8: White Mountain National Forest Take the Mount Washington Cog Railway to the top of the highest peak of this mountain range, drive along Kancamagus Highway, the scenic route through the White Mountains, or go shopping in the outlet centers of North Conway. 

Day 9: St. White Mountain National Forest – Kennebunk Beach Stroll along Dock Square in Kennebunkport, where you will find most of the town’s shops and restaurants or simply enjoy one of the many east coast beaches in the area. Apx. 100 mi / 160 km 

Day 10: Kennebunk Beach – Boston /  Departure Your trip ends today with the rental car return and departure flight back home. Apx. 85 mi / 135 km
