Day 1 Welcome to Mongolia
Arrive in Ulaanbaatar the capital city of Mongolia. Transfer to your hotel. Rest time. Lunch at restaurant. After lunch we will visit Gandantegchinlen Monastery and National Museum of Mongolia.
Evening we will enjoy traditional art performance. Welcome dinner. Stay overnight in hotel. LD

Day 2 Travel to Baga Gazriin Chuluu
Travel to Baga Gazriin Chuluu /Earth stone/ for 5-6hours about 240km it brings you a picturesque mountain at an elevation of 1,751 meters in the Granite Belt of Mongolia. On the way you will see Zorgol Khairkhan Mountain, giant rocky granite mountain as sacred by local nomads. Late afternoon we will travel to Ger camp where we enjoy staying at Mongolian traditional house-felt dwelling. Walking around the area. Stay overnight in Ger camp. BLD

Day 3 Travel to Tsagaan Suvarga and trekking
Continue travel to Tsagaan Suvarga for 240kms about 4-5hours. We will explore 30 meters high white limestone formation which had been created over millions of years by Aeolian and weathering effect. We will trekking around area for 3-4kms about 1-1.5hours. Stay overnight in Ger camp. BLD
 

Day 4 Travelling through Legendary Gobi and trekking
Drive to 220kms further up to Yol valley where in Gurvan Saikhan Mountian national Park in South Gobi province. This picturesque place is nestled between the beautiful peaks of the Gurvan Saikhan Mountain and shelters rich wildlife. Visit Gobi museum and trekking through the valley for 7-8kms about 2-2.5hours. Stay overnight in Ger camp. BLD

Day 5 Travel to Khongor Sand Dune
The Khongor sand dunes with a stretch of 180kms are a unique location where high sand dunes are falling against the green pastures, rugged hills and stream. You will climb up the Golden Sand dunes before the sun sets in to watch how darkness engulfs the desert area. Stay overnight in Ger camp. BLD

Day 6 Visit to nomad family & camel riding
Today we will visit a nomad family and have a chance to see nomadic life in the Gobi. You can taste traditional dairy products as made of camel cows’ milk. Camel riding is available. Move back to Ger camp. Trekking through of steppe for 4-5kms about 1-1.5hours. Stay overnight in Ger camp. BLD

Day 7 Travel to Bayanzag for trekking
Continue your travel to Bayanzag about 170kms north of Khongor sand dune where you will see saksaul forest, red flaming cliffs and pedestal rocks formed by the Aeolian effect on the sand and rock over millions of years. This is the place where dinosaurs were lived 70 million years ago, and is internationally famous for its dinosaur remains of complete skeletons, eggs and hatchlings of the Cretaceous Period. Trekking through saksaul forest for 5-6kms about 1-2hours. Stay overnight in Ger camp. BLD

Day 8 Travel to temple ruin of Ongi & trekking
Travel to Ongi temple ruin for 140km. We will trek along the area for 5-6kms about 1-2hours, where the ruins are situated. Meet with monks at a local temple. Stay overnight in Ger camp. BLD

Day 9 Drive from desert to steppe
Continue travel to Orkhon valley for 6-7hours about 240kms. Today we will leave Gobi already and be entered to mountain forest and steppe zone. Here we will visit nomads who mostly breed yaks and horses. Enjoy close encounter with nomads, see and learn differences among life in the Gobi and Khangai area. Stay overnight in Ger camp. BLD

Day 10 Travel to Kharakhorum
Travel to Kharakhorum town for 120kms. Kharakhorum was the ancient capital of Great Mongolian Empire in medieval age. We will visit remains of the ancient city, Erdenezuu monastery, the largest and first Mongolian Buddhist temple complex. Then we will visit local historical museum for learning more about the area. Then we will visit a local cooperative to attend a workshop for making felt items by hand. Stay overnight in Ger camp. BLD

Day 11 Travel to a nomad community
Travel to Gurvanbulag soum (a local administration unit) in Bulgan province around 100km. We will reach to the nomads. Visit a nomad family who will welcome us with their unique traditional hospitality. They offer unconventional home-made special dairy products, such as “aaruul”- dried curds, Mongolian salty milk tea – Suutei tsai and so on. Afternoon we will trekking to top of mountain for 3-4kms about 1-1.5hours. In the evening, you will be filled with a lesson on “Shagai”, traditional game. You will play “Shagai” with the family members. Stay overnight in community based Ger camp. BLD

Day 12 Horse based nomad culture
Today we will watch how Mongolian skillful cowboys catch horses by “uurga” – traditional wooden lasso and training an untamed horse that has never been ridden before. You will learn more in deep about traditional technology how to make halter and hobble by leather. Walking around area of sand dunes. For dinner you will enjoy “Khorkhog”, is real Mongolian barbeque, grilled with hot stones. Stay overnight in community based Ger camp. BLD

Day 13 Khustai National park
Travel to Khustai National Park for 200kms. On the way we will visit to Khar Bukhiin Balgas, an interesting remain of ancient town of nomad tribes dated back to 10th century. Then continue drive to Khustai National Park, is encompassing an area of 50.620hectare is the habitat of resurrected wild Mongolian horses, popularly known as Takhi (Przewalski’s Horse). Explore the park to see the Takhi horses in the wilderness. Stay overnight in Ger camp. BLD

Day 14 Travel back to Ulaanbaatar
Today you will travel for 100kms to Ulaanbaatar. Arrive in Ulaanbaatar and transfer to your hotel. Guided shopping for cashmere and souvenirs. Enjoy the farewell dinner. Stay overnight in hotel. BLD

Day 15 Departure
After breakfast transfer to airport for departure. B
